I’m back from a week long trip in Colorado. What an amazing place and definitely one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen with my two eyes. The bluest skies and epic landscapes. I would love to go back one day and spend a much longer time there.
Stuck in the Airport while my flight to Colorado is delayed and I’m reading the ‘Art of the Deal’ by Donald Trump.
The excerpt below is from Page 58 and is a revelation about how this man was able to become President of America. ‘Truthful Hyperbole’
“The final key to the way I promote is bravado. I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It’s an innocent form of exaggeration – and a very effective form of promotion”
Thank God for Saturday Mornings.
The one day of the week where I can sleep in and relax for a few hours. Right now I’m watching Kick-Ass on IFC. A great comic book movie if you are into that type of thing. It definitely earns it’s R Rating with ample violence and profanity but if that doesn’t bother you, watch it.
Last night I watched the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. It was a really unbelievable game, since GS was already up 3-0 in the series and was expected to win. Can Cleveland and LeBron James come back from a 3-0 deficit? Let’s see if history happens.
Saturday Mornings are the best.
